Delilah went to the Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany to give a talk at the IGSN symposium on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurodevelopment and the use of organoids.

On the same day, two talks, but at two different places! Benedetta presented at the 3rd annual DIM C-BRAINS day in Paris, while Delilah presented at the GSCN Stem Cell Club in Berlin.

We attended ISN-ASN 2025 in New York! Delilah first presented our recent work on studying brain tumor cell behavior in FeBOs. Benedetta then presented the lab’s latest work on the roles of ECM in brain development.
Four of us attended BaCell 3D in Basel. Benedetta presented the lab’s latest work on FeBOs for disease modelling, Delilah discussed the future of organoids in the panel discussion. Francesco and Roxy presented their work with posters.
Big congrats to Roxy for both winning the best poster prize and being selected for the Science Briding program travel grant!

Benedetta and Delilah went to Spain, firstly for a visit and talk at EMBL Barcelona, followed by the EMBO Liver and Pancreas workshop in Girona where Delilah presented the lab’s latest liver work.

The VOLUMINEX project has started! Benedetta and Delilah attended the kick-off meeting in Stockholm. We are looking forward to work with this team to make 3D spatial transcriptomics possible.

Benedetta and Delilah attended the meeting “Genome Editing: from basic principles to applied science” at Novo Nordisk Foundation in Copenhagen. Benedetta presented our latest efforts to combine CRISPR with organoids to build powerful human disease models.
